How do I recognise nail fungus?

My nails are not as white as they should be. They have a yellowish tint and sometimes there seems to be red patches in the inner side (as if something has poked). Please help. I strictly use silver nailpolish. Any dark colours are complete No No for me as they leave patches later. How do I recognise nail fungus?
Very few people have perfect nails. The nail color can change (it's normal) depending on your health, your diet, and how much nailpolish you put on. Make sure to let your nails have a break from nailpolish everynow and then. Drink lots of water and eat good to have naturally healthy nails. How do I recognise nail fungus?
see a doctor.....untill then take off the polish and clean it all up for a while
naw its not fungus. your nails are probably just lacking some vitamins or something. When theres fungus it starts hurting and its literally greeen. I do nails. and yes you should let your nails breath. Also use ur natural nails.
Don't use nailpolish at all... let your nails breathe (trust me, it will help!). Also, drink milk and eat a lot of calcium.
