This is interesting because I did it. I had a nail infection that I cleared up with baking soda. I used it a couple of times a day and used a toothpick to push it under the nail and under the nail bed. Even with that, it took about 8 months for it to work. You have to be dedicated to make it work. Good luck.
Lamisil is expensive but it's the only medicine that completely clears the thing up. It works through the blood-stream and although it is heavy on the liver it is only discoraged by doctors if you already have a liver problem. So if you are healthy you don't have to get checked at all.


There is no other permanent way....

Nail fungus is really difficult to get rid of without a prescription from a doctor. Lamisil is good, but you have to get checked monthly for liver problems.
I WENT TO THE PODIATRIST FOR FIVE MINUTES, AND ALL HE SAID WAS TO USE VINEGAR. HE TOLD ME THAT ALL THE MEDICATIONS ARE BASICALLY THAT.ONCE A DAY, HE SAID IT COULD TAKE UP TO A YEAR, BUT THE KEY IS CONSISTENCY. HOPE THIS HELPS.
