How do I identify and treat nail fungus?

There is some over-the-counter treatments that you can ';paint'; on your nails, but from what I have heard from others that have used it, they do not work very well. Usually, you need to see a doctor for a perscription they can give you (it's a pill) that will take away the fungus. It's important you get it treated right away, because it can spread to your other nails, and even to all your finger and toenails! The only downside, however, is that even with medication it takes MONTHS to fully get rid of the fungus. It's nasty stuff!!!How do I identify and treat nail fungus?
go to the doctor and ask what kinds of medicine you would need to correct the fungus. research info that can help treat it.
