Vicks Vapor Rub. I know it sound weird, but it's true. No one knows why Vicks VapoRub cures nail fungus. But it does.


Just put a little dab of Vicks on the tip of your finger, and rub it on the affected nail and around the cuticle. Do it once in the morning, and again in the evening. And be patient. It will not go away overnight. In fact, it will take about four to six months for the nail to completely grow out and the fungus to disappear. The Vicks vapor rub does work but does take time. Also you can soak your hands feet in a weak Clorox solution 1/2 cup to gallon of water and soak once to twice a day. DO NOT use these if you are a Diabetic. Let your Doctor help. these are great for Athletes foot. Fungus varieties are many. It should not hurt to try home remedies and if its stubborn Go to Doctor. I have tried the Tea tree oil but have not had great success with fungals.
There are a multitude of treatments from Tea Tree Oil, to topical applications like tioconazole or Amorolfine, or oral medication like Terbinafine or Itraconazole.





The oral treatments will need to be prescribed by a doctor, as will most of the topical treatments - your pharmacist should be able to offer you a topical treatment over the counter.
