I have never heard of a home remedy, yet, that worked. See your doctor or a podiatrist (a doctor that specializes in feet). They will be able to prescribe a medication that works. There is Lamisil tablets, you will usually need blood work before you can take these because of problems it may cause. There are also topicals that you apply directly to the affected nails.





Nail fungus can spread, so see a doctor as soon as possible. Don't expect immediate results, it takes about 1 year for a toenail to totally grow out from root to end. Good luck.
First, go to your general physician and he will most likely prescribe some anti-fungal medication. I think I have also heard about putting Vick's vapor rub, or Vaseline on the nails. I'm not sure completely about the creams, but your doctor will definitely know what to give you. My brother had toe nail fungus, and took some pills he received from the doctor, and the fungus cleared up. Sorry though, I don't remember the name of the pills. Good Luck!!
